Good point. Every public pool of a decent size should have a couple lanes sectioned off for lap swimming. But lap swimmers do take up more space- you can fit perhaps 4 (not on a swim team all at the same pace) in a 25 yard x 2 yard lane.

@OhioWire The "Big 10 morons" still think the Ivy Leaguers are snobs. And people from Cornell think people from Yale are douchebags. The best way to handle the prestige hierarchy is to pretend that it doesn't exist. But I still think that intellect and core competencies are important.

You can't make this stuff up! First they complain about banks underserving certain neighborhoods, then they complain about the service they receive. I have an idea. Let's just ban mortgages. I think that's what these people want us to do.

It's not about your education- it's about what you produce. Being an Art History major is wonderful, but nobody wants to pay for that. Get a degree that not everyone can obtain in a profession that requires skills that not everyone possesses.

But much, much less than 4% of those cases developed and caused mortality in less than three months. So Fukushima didn't *cause* cancers in the US. Those cancers had other causes. Hardly any cancers start and kill people inside of three months.
